Red Cat Jazz Café
|
The Red Cat Jazz Café is spearheading an effort to bring sophisticated entertainment back to downtown. This historic brick establishment serves up smooth performances almost every night of the week—mostly jazz mixed with folk, r&b and soul artists—while the restaurant and bar also boasts a full menu of Cajun comfort foods, including red beans and rice, fried catfish and gumbo. Although the cuisine may not be anything to write home about, the nightly performances continue to garner praise from Houstonians and tourists alike.
Even if you plan to dine, a cover charge remains in effect.
