The Peel Gallery closed in fall 2012. Zoya Tommy Contemporary now fills the space on the second floor of the 4411 Montrose building.

Steven Hempel's well-trained eye is a boon for shoppers at Peel Gallery hunting for the unusual, exquisite and downright sublime. An art gallery that doubles as a gift shop, Peel is right at home in the modern, gray building on Montrose that houses multiple artist galleries and the scrumptious Tart cafe. The shop sells one-of-a-kind furniture, stunning home accessories and jewelry ranging from kitsch to cool by artists such as Pam Love, Sean Albert and John Plauche. The limited quantity of each artist's pieces means if you love something (and have the money for it) it's best to get it on the spot.
