As the AmEx black card, reservations at Waverly Inn, and black truffles prove, limited availability breeds prestige. Open only on Friday and Saturday, it's a formula Mercer is using to bring out the pretty people in their chicest threads, especially on Fridays when the DJ spins old school hip-hop. Formerly Club Uropa, the free cigarettes are gone, and Mercer has had a minor facelift in decor and design, but the high energy vibe and dance floor grooves have stayed the same.
The patio is sublimely serene.
