McCormick & Schmick's - Uptown Park
|
This restaurant is known for its daily, flown-in-fresh seafood, particular the extensive oyster choices. Before McCormick and Schmick’s, many Houstonians thought there were only a couple of raw oyster varieties out there. But now they know there are dozens from around the world, each with its own characteristics. Some brinier, some more plumb and some juicier. It truly is a world of oysters here. There's also sushi and sashimi and a section devoted to Hawaiian fish and preparation, in addition to the traditional steaks and seafood. When it comes to a classic meal, there's not a much that McCormick & Schmick doesn't cover, and do well.
McCormick & Schmick's is offering ultra-competitive happy hour deals with appetizers, snacks, sushi priced from $1.95 (plus cocktails for $6.95) when you buy a drink from 4-7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. to close Monday through Friday.
