El Gran Malo: An icehouse with better decór? An ultra-casual open-air restaurant? A bar with better food? Whatever it is, it's awesome. The rotating menu of infused tequilas — which has included beet, bacon, cantaloupe and habanero ginger — can be served as shots, on the rocks, in margaritas or mixed into other cocktails, depending on their flavor profiles. The menu, designed by Triniti's Greg Lowry, features small bites like quesadillas, empanadas and a suprisngly light and creamy guacamole as well as a gourmet taco line-up with fixins including snapper pork belly and chicken tinga.
For $2, the kitchen will also add a fried egg to anything on the menu, which is exactly what you want after a couple tequila cocktails.
