Ei8ht
|
Ei8ht, by the guys behind Pub Fiction, might be named for the number of ways to spend time here. As in any Washington haunt, velvet-roped nooks abound for those willing to pay up for bottle service and a seat. Then, of course, there are the wide-open floors for grooving to DJ-spun tunes, a wine bar for upscale sips and a beautiful patio—not just a wrangling area for smokers, but a genuine space for outdoor lounging, with social arrangements of couches for meeting old friends or making new ones. The rooftop has even more space and seating, plus those West End views.
If you like the space but hate the trendy scene, happy hour is an awesome option, with $4 fresh fruit cocktails and martinis, $2 beer and half off wines by the glass and food from 4–8 p.m.
