This highly conceptual boutique bookstore has an emphasis on rare edition books, unusual periodicals and eclectic merchandise with a basis in contemporary art and culture. However, one of its bestselling items is a t-shirt with a photo of international socialite Lynn Wyatt on the front and the slogan “Lynn Wyatt Fan Club,” so it’s not all high-minded artsy stuff. Much of it is just plain fun. Domy is a tiny tucked-away gem that sits next door to hip coffeehouse Brasil. After they’ve finished their lattes, a lot of folks stroll out the back door and across a little patio area that connects the two and do some serious browsing at Domy. If you're you could even stumble into a reading or a film screening.
Road trippin' to Austin? There's a Domy bookstore there too, on East Cesar Chavez. Aspiring artists hoping for a show at the Austin location can drop off a CD at the store.
