The Breakfast Klub
|
Unless you get here real early, you’ll stand in line to get into this down-home hot spot. But it's worth the wait. The hefty meals are all prepared to satisfy a craving for food with heart and soul. Just perusing the menu - katfish and grits, French toast, green eggs and ham (the green comes from peppers laced throughout the eggs) and the signature waffles and chicken wings - makes us ravenous. The Klub motto: "If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, why not have it twice?" We think it's a good one.
The Klub is the center for local culture by hosting poetry readings, art shows and other happenings. If you come on Saturday, head to the parking lot of next-door neighbor t’afia for a weekly farmer’s market.
