The Big Easy

The Big Easy describes itself as a "social and pleasure club," which calls to mind genteel Southern gents in linen suits drinking brandy and smoking expensive cigar. Folks, this ain't that side of Louisiana. The Big Easy is a fun little dive in Rice Village that offers the best blues shows in town six nights a week and zydeco on Sundays. Luther and the Healers gigs every Thursday are particularly popular and attract crowds from local college kids checking out the scene to those who remember when B. B. King got his start.
