Américas — River Oaks

The newest incarnation of Américas at the River Oaks Shopping Center is a continuation of the vibrant, maximalist interiors of the original location on Post Oak and in The Woodlands. The look is still bold, with naturalism expressed everywhere from the wall drawings in the porte cochere to the furntiure, but there's also a softer streak, with fluid curves and a more feminine color palette. With bold flavors and foods from North, Central and South America and dramatic presentations (such as the side dish of jalapeños and onions flambéed next to your table) and new dishes like the ceviche flight as well as old favorites such as the tender churrasco steak with a rich tres leches for dessert, this restaurant pleases the palates of both the adventurous and the conventional.
