Some people think food can be served fast or served well, but not both. If they're right, Taco Milagro is the exception that proves the rule, serving fab Mexican fare inspired by chef Robert Del Grande as well as kick-ass margaritas, both of which come via counter service. The chicken enchiladas in green sauce are artfully presented with toasted pumpkin seeds and the tamales owe their cloud-like texture to the imaginative addition of grits in the masa. The enormous, colorful patio fills up fast during happy hour, with the suits co-mingling over mango margaritas with flip-flop fashionistas and the River Oaks set.
