Ruggles Green is the brilliant brain child of a couple eco-minded guys—chef Bruce Molzan and owner Federico Marques—who wanted to create Houston’s first certified green restaurant. What does "green" entail? Organic, all-natural, hormone-free, and preservative-free ingredients, as well as recycling, conservation, and the use of sustainable products. The menu is a mix of appetizing light-ish fare, with a slew of salads, sandwiches, burgers, fish tacos, pizza and pasta, and if you can resist the diet-busting dessert menu, you'll come away with a meal easy on the wallet, the planet, and the scale that still tickles the taste buds.
