It's not exactly a one stop shop, but Relish has quickly become a staple in the River Oaks neighborhood. Part small grocer, part counter restaurant, there are foods made to order along the Relish counter — masterful salads, sandwiches, soups and a tempting pastry bar. For dinner, owner Addie D'Agostino and chef Dustin Teague create weekly menus that are available to order by the pound and ready to take home and re-heat. There are a few dry goods and perishables, which are split between the fresh and local. These products include Way Back When Dairy, Grateful Bread and cheese from the Houston Dairymaids, to name a few.
Relish also stocks A Fare Extraordinaire's addictive sweet potato chips and portioned patties of Longhorn meat (naturally leaner than both traditional beef and bison) from Teague's family ranch.
