Grappino di Nino
Grappino is the casual wine bar in a trio of comfy Italian eateries owned by Vincent Mandola. The menu is heavy in spuntino, or small bites that are great as a light snack with a bottle of wine or when ordered in groups and shared around the table. We particularly like the grilled salmon topped with a crabmeat, artichoke and roasted-red-pepper sauce. The decor is pure rustic Tuscany, and when the mouthwatering smells of cannelloni or calamari waft by, it's easy to imagine youre in the kitchen of some Nonna's villa in Florence.
If you're in a hurry, be warned: The wait service has a tendency to be a bit European as well.
