Flora & Muse [closed]
Like a Parisian bistro, Flora & Muse doesn't take pains to define itself. Is it a bistro serving everything from savory breakfast crepes to midnight bites of tikki chicken skewers? Is it a bar? A coffee shop? A bakery? A flower and stationary shop? It's actually all of these things, at once. And while that can be a little overwhelming, it's also really fabulous. It's a place where a couple on a date can sit at the massive bar, sipping a cocktail named after one of the muses, while 10 feet away a group of women host a baby shower while eating panini and Turkish pies. And while for the uninitiated everything may seem a little weird, we like to think the baroque details — a painting stretched out like a mosaic between gilded frames and wood paneling — give Flora & Muse a sense of something eclectic and classic in a modern space.
We've yet to see her stop in, but Turkish film star Basak Koklukaya is one of the investors.
