Cyclone Anaya's has been serving Tex-Mex classics for over 40 years. And with Australian corporate chef Jason Gould at the helm, the menu has stepped up a notch. The ceviche is tasty (thanks to a dose of jumbo lump crab). The fish tacos and other Mexican classics are profoundly flavorful. The margaritas are varied and the brunches are epic. The menu is diverse, with favorites served alongside lighter fare like lunch soups and salads, and dinner specials like the braised short ribs. The Midtown location is known to be the liveliest of the bunch. We think the original Cyclone Anaya, the famous wrestler and founder of the local chain, would approve.
