When beloved live-theater institution Radio Music Theatre closed its doors in 2011, with the retirement of Steve and Vicki Farrell, another married acting pair Brad Scarborough and Rebekah Dahl almost immediately reopened those same doors. Renaming the intimate performance space, Music Box Theater, the couple gathered together some fellow Houstonian musical theater veterans to create four new shows a year written around specific themes. The Music Box team weaves current hit songs and showstoppers from past decades into their original comic performances. Houston has theater for every taste, but Music Box Theater is the one place to relax, have a drink and enjoy a cabaret-style show every weekend.
