Minute Maid Park

A new baseball stadium with old-style charm

This enormous stadium is home to the 2005 National League Champion Houston Astros and all their loyal fans. Completed in 2000, this behemoth boasts wireless internet, one of the largest LCD screens in Texas, and a natural grass playing field equipped with a giant retractable roof, allowing the sunny Texas weather to shine inside most of the year. The classic ballpark design is a tribute to the great baseball institutions famous throughout the country and is recognized as having the deepest centerfield amongst them. In the off-season, the park is host to as many stadium-sized events as can fit into the schedule. Minute Maid Park is very well appointed and we recommend the club level, where the drinks and food are always flowing and Houston’s movers and shakers hang out during the games. Be on the lookout for famed fans Barbara and former President George H. W. Bush, as they are often seen sitting in the front row directly behind home plate.
