Housed in one of the city's oldest buildings with its original stained glass intact, Leon's Lounge attracts an ecelctic crowd. From the older Houston residents who've been coming here for years, to the younger crowd being lured into the Midtown scene, this bar will always host those who enjoy the interesting but not-trendy drink selection. Bring your own records and if there's no DJ or live stuff happening, Leon's will let you play whatever you want. Comes in handy for those who need a place to show off their extensive collection and possibly need a cocktail to wind down from the day.
Monday means 2-for-1 empanadas and Wednesday is when steak night rolls around. Both are connected through their Argentinian influences. Be advised: Leon's is said to be haunted, unless those ghost-spotters were just generously-served imbibers.
