Dean's Credit Clothing-Downtown
The building Dean’s Credit Clothing resides in is nothing if not old school. The bar borrowed its name from the previous inhabitant, which was a credit-based department store that opened in 1938 and housed Houston’s first electric elevator. The original hardwood floors are still here, as are some vintage clothes, creating an eclectic vibe that's ever-so-cool, with live music, an ever present flock of local artists. It’s no wonder this bar has struck up a great love affair with the more funky Houston locals.
Be sure to try Dean's famous frozen cosmos and stop by the hidden gem notsuoH just next door.
