Alma Cebiche + Bar

Alma Cebiche+bar

After chef David Guerrero (formerly of the now-closed Samba Grille) survived a brain tumor that caused him to lose a much of his sense of taste, he went on to astound diners by serving up critically acclaimed Peruvian fare-- filling a culinary void in our restaurant scene.

Guerrero's Peruvian and Ecuadorian cebiches are fresh and authentic with accompaniments like choclo (large-kernel Peruvian corn) and intensely flavorful leche de tigre (the citrusy marinade for the seafood). For those a little squeamish of cured seafood, there are amalgamations made at a wok station featuring the uniquely Chinese-influenced dishes of Peru like lomo saltado (stir-fried beef chunks with soy, tomato and more) and stir-fried corvina.

Alma is slated to re-open at this location soon.
