Zoo Friends holds its annual Zoo Ball to contribute to the development of one of Houston's most beloved and popular assets: The Houston Zoo. Since its inception, Zoo Friends has raised more than $24 million for the creation of specific projects and exhibits, the purchase of zoo animals, support of the veterinary hospital, building renovations and educational efforts.
