Sounds Like Houston Thursday Concerts presented by Green Mountain Energy
Unwind on the green and revel in the sounds of some of the region's best performers on the Anheuser-Busch stage. The family-friendly concerts take place on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., Sept. 25 through Oct. 23. Blankets and picnics are welcome, but glass containers and outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Lawn chairs are allowed on the north side of the Fondren Performance Space. Concessions are available for purchase at The Lake House, which provides fast casual food and beverages. A special Lake House tent will be set up to sell fresh grilled tacos, corn and other bites.

Oct. 16 – Rodney Crowell, Grand Old Grizzly opens
Rodney Crowell cut his teeth in Houston before going on to record five No. 1 hits in the 1980s. In 2014 Crowell won his second Grammy for his work with Emmylou Harris on the Old Yellow Moon album and released another solo record, Tarpaper Sky.
Oct. 23 – T Bird and The Breaks, Mikey and The Drags open
T Bird and The Breaks create a melting-pot of funk that people of all ages, and across musical genres, can dig.
