Second Annual "Bugs, Brew & Barbecue"
More than 50 classic VW "bugs" from the North Houston Volkswagen Club will be on display around the historic Depot in downtown Tomball. Beetles, vans, Ghias and dune buggies, swap-meeters and more will be on-site from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. along South Elm, Market and South Walnut streets.
Cisco's Salsa Company will be pouring more than 30 craft brews from Texas breweries, including Southern Star, Karbach, No Label, Saint Arnold Brewing Co., Shiner, Real Ale, Alamo, Independence and Rahr & Sons.
Tomball's own Original Rib Tickler and Dickey's Barbecue Pit are among the local barbecue restaurants serving tasty pulled pork and chopped brisket sandwiches, sausage and more. Guests will enjoy live music runs from noon to 6 p.m. with CCR tribute band Unfortunate Sons and classic rock band The Bottle Rockers. The Kids Zone will be filled with free activities such as games, face painting, a bounce house and more.
