Rock-n-Roll Weekend at Constellation Field: ZZ Top and Kenny Wayne Shepherd
The Sugar Land Skeeters' first concerts at Constellation Field are headlined by two nationally-known artists. The all-star weekend lineup includes REO Speedwagon and Night Ranger on Oct. 19 and ZZ Top and Kenny Wayne Shepherd on Oct. 20. Produced by ACE Live as part of a multi-year agreement, these concerts kick off the beginning of a series of shows that will be presented at the stadium in the coming years.
ZZ Top lay undisputed claim to being the longest running major rock band with original personnel intact. In 2004, the Texas trio was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. There are only three of them — Billy F. Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Bear — and it's a remarkable achievement that they are still together after more than 40 years of rock, blues and boogie on the road and in the studio.
