Fixed is a moving story told through the perspectives of five individuals living with disabilities and analyzing the implications of emerging biological and human technology enhancement. Economics and agendas help shape a conversation on what it means to be human in the 21st century.
A light reception with appetizers begins at 6:15 p.m., followed by the screening at 7 p.m. There will also be a post-screening discussion with Dr. Cindy Ivanhoe, who specializes in brain injury and neuro rehabilitation.
ReelAbilities Houston is a citywide film and arts festival dedicated to promoting inclusion and celebrating the lives, stories and artwork of people with disabilities.
