Race Talk 2012: "Understanding the Past, Facing the Challenges of the Present and Preparing for a Better Future"

From there, Foster will consider the reactions of different groups of people to recent racial incidents in the news and discuss productive paths forward.
Foster is an anthropologist and faculty member at The University of Texas at Austin. In 2010-2011, he moved his primary academic appointment to the new African and African Diaspora Studies Program to be a part of that department at its founding.
