Plan B is a powerful film presenting a road map to eradicating poverty, stabilizing population and restoring the planet's fisheries, aquifers, soils, grasslands and biological diversity. Narrated by Matt Damon, an environmental advocate, it includes scholars and scientists such as Paul Krugman, Thomas Friedman and Bruce Babbitt.
The film is based on Lester Brown's book series, Plan B: Mobilizing to Save Civilization. The screening will be introduced by producers Marilyn and Hal Weiner and Houston environmental attorney Jim Blackburn. A question-and-answer with the audience follows the screening.
