George Carr launches the Carr Men collection at Saks Fifth Avenue Galleria with a personal appearance at 6 p.m. as part of Fashion’s Night Out. The line was inspired by Carr's brother, Zack, who served as Calvin Klein's creative director for three decades before his death in 2000. The Carr team includes George Carr, serving as director for both lines, Dallas businessman Edward Jones III as chairman, and Scott Formby—who cut his teeth at Geoffrey Beene, J. Crew and Lucky Jeans—as designer. The menswear line combines a clean, Calvin Klein-ish cut with tweedy Ralph Lauren-like romance—and the Carrs’ Texas heritage.
