Ouisie's Table presents First Day of Summer
Ouisie’s Table will greet the first day of Summer by serving it. In recognition of the Summer Solstice, June 21, the 44-year-old Houston institution will be offering guests a special three-course, multi-choice menu of Southern summer dishes the restaurant is famous for.
The ala carte menu starts with a choice of salads, either citrus or the most Southern of all, watermelon. Both salads come with fish or meat options. Catfish tops the main course, although there are also choices of chicken or pork chops. Dessert says it all with a choice of a Ouisie specialty, Lemon Ice Box Pie, or peach cobbler.
To go with the special menu, Ouisie’s is also offering a special Solstice Rosé Wine Menu offering four wines by the glass or bottle at discounted prices. All the main-course dishes come with sides. The menu is available for lunch and dinner.
