This original play, written by Texans Joe Cole and Jennifer Adams, begins as the Civil War is nearing its end. Many young, lonely widows have been left to fend for themselves as they learn their husbands won't be returning home. Taking advantage of this situation is Postal Lothario, a ruthless, silver-tonged villain who sets out to provide companionship by mail in hopes of swindling two local widows out of their money.
Dinner starts at 7 p.m.; the melodrama begins at 8 p.m.
