Monsters of Beer is the culminating event of Houston's Beer Week.

The outdoor charity event (the street immediately adjacent will be closed for festivities) will feature nine local breweries including 512, Jester King, Saint Arnold, No Label Brewing Co., Two Rows, Southern Star, Ranger Creek, Real Ale and Independence Brewing Co. A ticket gets you tastings for at least two brews from each brewery (in a custom Monsters of Beer etched glass), live music and food by Hubcap Burger and Melange Creperie.

Proceeds benefit Friday Harbour, a local organization providing housing assistance to cancer patients and their families while they're in Houston seeking treatment. So come out and drink for a cause — tickets are $20 online, and $30 at the gate.
