The Living Bank's 2012 "Celebrate Life" event honors Dr. Jacqueline Lappin of St. Luke's Cooley Transplant Center's newly launched Pancreas Transplant Program. The Houston Bar Association's Night Court will provide musical comedy entertainment.
Proceeds from Celebrate Life will fund: The Living Donor Advocacy Program for professional development for living donor advocates, family stipends for organ donors, lodging and travel for transplant services, and general public and minority outreach.
