Each year after an exhaustive nationwide search, a hand-selected group of talented individuals is brought to Houston to work alongside the best in the business at Houston Grand Opera. During a residency of up to three years, each performer receives customized training from an expert team while gaining invaluable performance experience at the highest level.

This season's program includes thrilling music from four different centuries, with selections by Mozart, Debussy and Johann Strauss. Directed by Houston Grand Opera artistic and music director Patrick Summers, HGO Studio Artists will perform selections from Il ritorno d'Ulisse, Pelléas et Mélisande, Die Fledermaus, Susannah, Merry Wives of Windsor, Faust, Le nozze di Figaro and Street Scene. All selections will be sung in the original language with projected English translations.
