Houston Grand Opera presents The Italian Girl in Algiers

Add to Other Calendars (iCal file format)Spanish theatrical team Els Comediants return to the Houston Grand Opera with a new production of Rossini's The Italian Girl in Algiers. Making her HGO debut, Italian mezzo-soprano Daniela Barcellona will sing Isabella opposite Lawrence Brownlee's Lindoro. Bass-baritone Patrick Carfizzi returns to sing Mustafà and HGO Studio Alumnus, baritone Daniel Belcher will sing Taddeo. The production is directed by Joan Font, set and costumes designed by Joan Guillén. Conducted by Carlo Rizzi.
