Houston Chamber Choir presents Night Vision: Things Seen and Unseen
Wisdom and understanding are gifts of inner contemplation often enhanced by surrounding darkness. Houston Chamber Choir explores these gifts in a religious context with Rachmaninoff’s “All-Night Vigil,” considered by many to be his greatest work. The poignant reflection by Schiller in “The Night,” cast in a famously virtuosic setting by Strauss, enables us to experience the richness of evening in another yet still deeply personal way.
Houston Chamber Choir’s Luminary Society will again host an after-party immediately following the concert.
