Earth Day Celebration: "Bella Gaia: A Poetic Vision of Earth from Space"

Bella Gaia

This Earth Day, take a journey that evokes the wonders of the world and the Universe. "Bella Gaia" (Beautiful Earth) is a "living atlas" multimedia journey of the world, expressing the deeply moving beauty of planet Earth as seen through the eyes of astronauts by simulating space flight. A collaboration with NASA, the show is an immersive theater experience, a portal to develop a deeper connection and empathy with the planet Earth.

Created by award-winning director and classically-trained violinist Kenji Williams, "Bella Gaia" features a live performance by Williams, world music performers and dancers with orbiting visualizations of Earth from space.

This is a ticketed event for the covered seating area. Free tickets are available (four per person over age 16 while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance between the hours of 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. If tickets remain after 1 p.m., the box office will re-open one hour before showtime to distribute the remaining tickets.
