"Drinks, Desserts and Diapers" benefiting Diaper Houston

Add to Other Calendars (iCal file format)The "Drinks, Diapers and Desserts" soiree is an event that gathers an important thing for three deserving Houston-area charities: DePelchin Children's Center, Houston Area Women's Center and SEARCH Homeless Services (House of Tiny Treasures). Diapers are the admission to the party and the focal point of the event.
For the families of 25 percent of Harris Country children living at or below the poverty level in a home that consists of one parent, diapers can command more than 10 percent of the annual household budget. Diaper Houston is on a mission to close the diaper gap for many Houston-area families by collecting 36,000 of those necessary nappies.
