UCBTC got its start in 1990 as an offshoot of the Chicago improv theater ImprovOlympic (known now as IO Theater). Over the years, the 90-minute showcase has toured the country with its unique brand of longform improv and introduced comedy fans to some of the best and brightest comedic talent around. Past performers include Amy Poehler, Horatio Sanz, Rob Corddry, Ed Helms, Rob Riggle, Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel.
