This year's luncheon speaker is H.G."Buzz" Bissinger, who is among the nation's most honored and distinguished writers. He is the winner of the Pulitzer Prize, the Livingston Award, the American Bar Association Silver Gavel Award and the National Headliners Award, and was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University. He is the author of three highly acclaimed nonfiction books, Friday Night Lights, A Prayer for the City and Three Nights in August.
Buzz will speak about his newest book, Father's Day, in which he tells the tale of driving cross-country with his son Zach, who has brain damage, to get to understand him better.
