Local historian Louis Aulbach has been on a quest to discover Buffalo Bayou. His newest book, Buffalo Bayou: An Echo of Houston's Wilderness Beginnings reflects on 12 years of research and discoveries along Houston's historic waterway.

Aulbach will share stories of the Allen brothers, the founders of Houston, and provide historical information about our City's first families and businesses. A reception and book signing will follow the discussion.
