Add to Other Calendars (iCal file format)There's a lot more to hiking than just finding the trailhead or owning a pair of hiking boots. At this event, guests will learn what they need for a hiking adventure and learn about the many great trails in and around Houston and Texas.
Whether one is looking for an urban hike or a backcountry hike, it is important to know where to go, wear the correct clothing and shoes and have the right supplies for the journey. Bayou City Outdoors' Kelly Howard, who has led hikes in Texas and around the country, will conduct this informational session.
