Artopia 2012

Featuring the Fourth Annual Mastermind Awards, Houston Press' Artopia celebrates Houston's best artists, musicians, fashion designers, chefs and mixologists. Sponsored by Stella Artois, the event will showcase musical performances by Folk Family Revival, Finnegan, Young Mammals and DJ Kyle Berg.

The performing art stage will include performances by Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, Cuadro La Tempestad Flamenco and Talento Bilingue de Houston. Three fashion shows will be held during the event with models provided by the Neal Hamil Agency. Art from 30 local artists will be on display throughout the venue. Visual art will range from a collaborative graffiti mural created by the Stick’Em Up artists to abstract art to pop art.

Guests will also be able to enjoy light bites from local restaurants, including The Counter, Jamaica House, Bibas Kitbar and others. The VIP lounge will feature a catered spread by Nabi.

Sawyer Park will be hosting the official after party from 11 p.m. –  2:00 a.m.
