Enjoy an educational fall festival for the family. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes for a different kind of trick-or-treating in nature’s neighborhood. Learn about nighttime hunters such as coyotes, bats, owls and spiders by visiting educational trick-or-treat stations along a forest trail. Take a hayride through the forest, decorate a pumpkin and try the cake walk. Carnival activities will include pony rides, face painting, a petting zoo and train rides.
Arboretum members have exclusive access to the event at 10 a.m. ArBOOretum will open to the public at 11 a.m.
