AIDS Foundation Houston presents AIDS Walk Houston 2016: Red Umbrella Stroll
AIDS Foundation Houston hosts the 27th annual AIDS Walk Houston, presented by Marathon Oil. This signature event is the city’s single greatest response in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Funds raised help local HIV/AIDS service organizations provide programs and services to thousands of Houstonians impacted. A goal of $600,000 has been set and more than 6,000 Houstonians are expected to gather to remember family and friends and to honor those living with HIV/AIDS.
While the 5K walk is free to register and participate, fundraising efforts are greatly appreciated. The day of the event, registration begins at 12 pm, the walk kicks off at 1 pm and the festivities continue at 2 pm.
