The 2017 Manhattan Short Film Festival
This year, the Manhattan Short Film Festival received a record-breaking 1,615 short film entries from 75 countries, a testimony to the enduring vibrancy and creativity of the short film genre. The ten finalists hail from nine countries: Georgia, Latvia, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, Syria, United Kingdom, and the U.S.
Manhattan Short’s unique and enduring feature is that it offers cinema goers a chance to become film critics, filling out a ballot after the screening that allows them to vote for Best Film and Best Actor. Votes will be sent to Manhattan Short HQ, and winners announced at ManhattanShort.com.
