More than 30,000 Houstonians will participate in the Heart Walk this November in support of the American Heart Association's fight against heart disease and stroke. Bigger than ever before, the Heart Walk will take place at a new location, Reliant Park. The walk will feature a full day of family fun and physical fitness to promote walking as a part of a healthy lifestyle while raising funds to support cardiovascular research and educational programs for the American Heart Association.
The Houston Heart Walk is part of the association's "My Heart. My Life." national platform, sponsored locally by FMC Technologies and ConocoPhillips, which is designed to change the way Americans think about their health and help people feel better and live longer.
