Rachael is a design- and coffee-obsessed writer. After stints at D Magazine, Texas Monthly, and Saveur, Rachael moved to New York City to attend culinary school and work in the Bon Appétit test kitchen. She returned to Dallas to work as an editor at PaperCity and later at CultureMap Dallas, where she wrote about lifestyle topics such as food, home and design, fashion, and society. Rachael's own wedding inspired her to start a wedding planning and stationery business, Olive & Oats. Rachael resides in San Antonio, where she explores coffee shops and cool neighborhoods in her spare time.
